Dolls have always been a part of my life.
Even as I child I had a very fertile imagination, and more creativity than I
knew what to do with. My grandmother found a way to harness some of
those creative juices when she showed me how to use a sewing machine.....and
from that point on, no piece of fabric was safe!!
But it wasn't until about 8 years ago that I figured
out how to combine my love of dolls, my ability to sew, a healthy dose of
humor, and all that creativity, to come up with the comic collection of
"people" that fill my head, and my house, and travel with
me to Art Fairs and Craft Shows. I get such a kick out of watching
people's reactions to my dolls....and I have gotten to hear some pretty funny
stories.......because EVERYONE seems to have an old aunt that looks just like
one of my "ladies"!!!
So now I get to laugh every day, and create
whimsical, silly, wacky, dolls!! and travel! and meet people! and hear
stories......what a life I have!! Thanks, grandma!!
